Day 299
1:00 am
–
heat waves
–
your thumb in the small of my back
matched with a sideways glance
I notice the lines around your eyes
and believe them to be handsome
there is nor shall ever be nothing
else more between us otherwise
but that hug was nice and you said
you were waiting for that to happen
and I took note of me noting you
saying it while going in for one more
I almost tell you that felt almost too
good, but loyalties leash my tongue
this heat is good for nothing, except
wanting friction to come, yet be gone
