Day 316
10:58 pm
–
to class or not to class
–
i wonder of the devils on the other side
of the wall
(they hear me shuffle along with my
slippers just outside in the corridor)
we agree i am not allowed to call upon
them unless
…a bench
…they sit on a bench and beckon
(they watch me grow weary of
the see saw and the sandbox)
but i like the sandbox and wish to be
a renegade
…of pick ax
…to institution
then there is
the future
i see pay stubs floating in the air like
random movie tickets
they fly around when moving furniture
to vacuum up dust mites
…we will meet at the swings
…and see who can go higher
