Day 332
2:46 pm
–
containment
–
a heart is rising to the top
of a sealed jar
closed atop her head, by
the
pressure of
time
veins grow wings,
the blood suggests
when legs pop out
of the glass
and no caffeine is needed
to leap out of bed
no one can contain a heart
the size of three seas,
of thirty wings,
of Tripoli
she is about to score
the largest notch
above
you will help
or see her
gone
see her body feign sleep
before it goes to
burst, yes, burst
burst or bust
it won’t be long
