an unborn child spoke to me
from my unborn belly
yesterday
she reminded me I have too
many markings on the planner
in my head
and so she will only
speak to me from
my dreams

when families see
their generations
pass on peacefully,
there is peace
when families see
their generations
buried under guns,
there is fire
