Day 350
11:24 am
–
d.o.d.
–
Next year on this day,
Buddhists will ring the tears of
Chants through wafting smoke into
Metal bowls, who will
Sing in return
The scent will harken both,
Angry swallows caught in a
Widow’s throat
and
Sleepy hummingbirds resting
At the feet of a daughter’s soul
That is the seventh year
This is the sixth, far less ceremonious
I have three appointments
today
Will I pause at 2:40 pm?
