Day 6 – To The Wind

Sunday, September 6 – Day 6

1:27 pm – 2:27pm

To The Wind

on a whim

we’ll go

hearts flushed

we’ll go

in some unadvisable direction

it is not wise

to shift the mast just yet

according to them

anyway

but they are not here

no one is

justice

is placed

among two in an individual space

agreeing to gallop against the wind

despite

present respite

to simply

enjoy

what a traversal

may usher in

atop the oceans din

who cares

we could use more earth here

everyone would agree

we need more earth here

but everyone is absent

and we two

shall not care

all we hear is the

orchestral clamor

of

blistering wet scales

of

impetuous melodies

of

the pounding that abounds

in our

lush

palatial

sea

such

harmonious dissonance

resting in between

breaths

beating in between

gasps

opulent laughter

and hasty steering

we’ll cast off

gazing

toward each other

speeding ahead

opposing

the

anchors

blistering breeze

and precautioned tales

to

emerge

from

the boil

two hearts

who’ve simply

set sail
