Day 12
12:55 am – 1:55 am

for s

her
voice
swayed
in
a
room
all
her

own

blind
by
the
lights
she
looks
in
to
so
she
may
get
lost
through
the
kaleidoscope
of
bright
strobes
of
rising
smoke
of

anything

but
the
myriad
of
eyes
in
the
expanse
of
the
club

her

voice
needs
to
sing
out
but
would
rather
be
anywhere
else
at
the
same
time

she

sings
for
the
isolation
of
her
friends
for
the
women
of
the
world
for
searching
for
loneliness
for
her
sanity
for
her
life
this
is
why
and
only

why

she
sings
out
at
all

otherwise
it’d
make
more
sense
to
be
in
her
living
room
letting
the
notes
lilt
to
the
ceiling
on
their
own
so
in
to
the

lights

if
you
find
yourself
asking
and
wanting
to
know
just

where
she
did
go
simply
look
to
the

lights

it’s
where
her
eyes
will
be
as
her
body
is
determined
to
be
onstage
but
remain

alone
