a tiny cafe
dude in a suit on a cell
speaking way too loud

he keeps looking up
he wants me to notice him
at least, so i think

nihongo-phile
he is one of those who is
but thinks he is not

beyond parts of speech
he sighs, grunts in Japanese
mm..mm..eh-toh..mm..

eh-toh neh, soo desu
mm..mm…Itsuuuu? mm..soo desu
white people are strange
