Day 65
7:27 pm – 7:57 pm

flying feet

winter is coming

horrible it may be that we are here in such warmth
too far to see

but winter approaches us anyway

we smile in the thought it is the thought that does
go farther

and the light of frost strikes us

waking in to a crystal clear dream greeting the glories
of morning

the sun trickles tickle our longing

bold as it is we are the better for the lightning
as it frolics

all around us the winds begin to fall

dusk becomes darker sooner to dust across our shoulders
like capes

whish whish wisks by soft but steady

we invite the evening to hang around longer protecting us
our fine canopies

the moon rises to its occasion and we view the stars

they are flickering feet as happy as we are to acknowledge
a new season

winter is dancing
