Day 110
3:32 am – 4:15 am

awash room in vegas

we walked through downtown
played a little video poker
hung out at the craps table

you can spend hours in the casino

my respite is typically the restroom
clean, huge, with lots of stalls
each stall with plenty of room

free drinks meant i drank as much
as i wanted, and always knew where
the womens bathroom was

it never dawned on me until our trip

i was always going to the bathroom
alone and she, who looks like a boy
most of the time to the rest of the world

would stay behind back at the tables
or in between the slot machines
holding my jacket, watching my drink

she knows she often looks like a boy
in a womens restroom and makes one
wonder while passing the mens urinal

so she never went to the bathroom
