Day 134
2:09 am – 3:02 am

The Sweeper

The Sweeper
Is capable
Of many things

You must beware
Of entering in to
His land of taskery

This is a man
Who taught himself
To build, maintain
And transform a
Well-oiled machine,
Learn the trade
Of sales, markets,
Gadgets and bargains,
All the while
Tending to his
Dearest family matters,
Handling everything
From diabetes to
General IT issues to
Universal remote controls

His expertise
Makes way for patience
Finer for his efficiency

And he will deal coal miners
Work to modern city

Making light
Of your hem-haw

He is not trying to
Show you up
He just works faster

He does not dislike
Your effort
He simply knows better

He would stop to
Help you but
It’s already done

Step aside or speed up
No harm, no foul,
No wasted motion
