Day 161
10:14 pm – 10:54 pm

A.A.F. S.O.L. – 11) Travel

“How do you get the girl?
Give Johnny money.”
– John, owner of mail order bride
website company based in Canada.

Traffick.

Blocking up his internet connection.

Thousands of men.

Looking to the Philippines for women.

Perusing an endless parade of photos.

Some looking for companions.

Some looking for maids.

Some looking for slaves.

All
licking their lips at images, infinite assumptions printed upon each photo and copy of completed transaction.

She is in a room reading letters from men.

Her auntie says the girl is the only one with opportunities to leave.

Her brother is afraid he might be a bad man.

Her grandma fears they will never see each other again.

Traffick.

Much to consider.

She has no idea there are hundreds of thousands just like her.

Where will we find her?

How do we receive her?

Will we know how best to keep her?

Much to consider.

Standing against the traffick of all womyns lives.
