Day 162
12:01 am – 12:27 am

A.A.F. S.O.L. – 12) Natives

work
grow food
maintain shelter
fall in love
spend time with nature
raise families
uphold beliefs
practice tradition
defend their children
take care of their elders

plan for the new day
dream of the next adventure

until
You
show up
with your
ships,
bases,
flags,
pamphlets,
and bibles

and
then
they

work ten times harder
to maintain cropped shelter
as their food is exported
and families have little faith
they can watch over their
children much less the
tradition of care for their
mothers and fathers

what then

of time

except
to plan for the next meal
to dream of sovereignty

what then, of love
