Day 167
11:47 pm – 12:17 am

those

those eyes
the ones
who believe
mine
are the valley
at the dawn
of spring

that breath
the one that
beckons
the sun
to rise
from behind
my ear

those teeth
that beg
mine
to reveal
thunderous
lightning cries
at the end
of an exhale
void of
hesitation

those fingertips
that
revel in the
baby hairs
at the nape
of my neck

those arms
that coax
the time
and tease
the shadows
on my
lower back

those shoulders
the ones that
turn
steel beams
into
golden dust
by the end
of the week

it is now
with complete
impatience
that i need
every bit
of all
you can
imagine

those
