Day 175
7:04 pm

nobody

for no reason
other than
rolling to one
side of the
bed on any
given morning

there is
time to remember

how big this world is

how little our lives are

how you held me
for a moment

and how no one
else
has ever
offered

that kind of reverence

or assurance

in such a short-lived
romance

with
me

it was fleeting
because

of
me

you may never
want or
need
to

forgive
me
