Day 222
8:12 am

Salsa Night

Rushed
By the hands of another
Locked arm
With wicked fingers
Link to slick hips
Swinging
Back and forth
Twirl
Spin
There must be connection
Hence the chemistry
Of our pairing
Or maybe that is all this is
A moment in a dance
But now it is time to leave

Business Lunch

Midday,
sushi restaurant
in Little Tokyo

two guys
looking down at the
table between them

the Japanese American
guy ordered
a combination
with grilled salmon

the White guy
ordered the sashimi platter

they both slowly picked,
prodded at their food

is that what they each
really wanted to eat or

did they make their orders
to make each other feel
more comfortable

tkk

My guy on No No Boy

He spoke through a q&a
He spoke often
He said a lot
He said he hopes
People would see this
And feel
Radicalized
Empowered
A desire to
Seek more
Connect more

He is verbose

Just one
Reason why

I’m a
lucky gyrl
