Day 248
3:00 pm

Free artists

in a cardboard cup
that used to be made
of metal
when we were

for free
for no parking
for no given thought
to food or a bottle
of water next to
the stage bearing a
strict time limit

This cup wears
paper thin

and as it fills
slowly becomes
