Day 269
10:17 pm

haiku on a thursday

deep in this city
beyond traffic, haze, bullshit
we find each other

xenophobia.
an identity issue.
American(s) Fear(s).

through my weakest cough
I can hear my grandmother
eeking out of me

Don’t try to erase,
press, block, crush, cross, or hate me
I stand with my pen
..swing
..fight
..leap
..love
..fly
