Day 289
4:45 pm

I tapped her heart
with my curiosities
and was always around
carrying a big fan

We never said forever
until we broke, suddenly
we faced fear and thus
followed pledges and promise

Today I stumbled upon a
dusty frame with a picture
and had no memory of where
we were when we took it

the glory of religion

they colonized her homeland
with a religion to speak
on behalf of Their god
and lied through their
teeth about

so she raised you to know
you will kill her if
you are to ever
open your chest
and show her
who is inside
your heart
