Day 317
11:03 pm

shake you

how

dare

you

thief of life, you wish,
you
tempt fate,
you dangle your nightmares
like tickets in front of
our podiums
and laugh, crushed,
in your legless genius

lust, for once,
after
joy
or
kites
or
anti-gravity
or
love
for that
matter

you, stand sullen,
torn between
ease
and defiance

what if, then,
you
are the one
who does not allow
you
to leave

can you say
what comes next

i

dare

you

.
