Day 324
3:00 am

you, again

won’t say what you’re thinking
won’t come up to me first
because you know i’ll make
my way over to you
won’t say much in the form
of a question
won’t offer anything but your
bright smile and all of your
happy doing-greatness

there’s something i don’t buy

and it’s somewhere in that
very smile
and your sideways glance
and constantly nodding head

don’t think i can’t see
what you wish was dead

you showed up here to
prove a point and fool
the many but my dear
i see

you’re lying to my face

again
