11:30 pm

same old fight

begged her too
many times to
listen with her heart

she only loves
the satisfaction in
knowing well of
her past

have the wrong hands,
too small to wrangle her

tear at each other with
rusty spears and worn
down jabs

I will never win a war
with this woman

see how her
ghosts’ shadows
have settled, they have
a good laugh at my
