Day 349
8:12 pm

Midnight Wanderer – 1

She
is in love with the
Moonlight’s wink
as it suggests conjunction
with a turn at beginnings and
She
likes to take everything
personally

Yesterday
was a day of efficiency,
of cutting loose ends,
checking off lists

But now, today, she speaks of,
calls for, demands
Glory
in a way she had not done
before

In fact,
She realizes,
She never has

So the glory would simply be
Her, realized

Gliding with ribbons made of
rainbows
Cartwheeling through
meteor showers
Exclaiming her desires to the
entire horizon of the world
Making way with time for stars
to burst from stale clouds
and shadows

She
breathes,
deep

She
exhales,
happily

She
beckons with courage,
sees herself in the full of the moon
