Day 358
10:28 am

Two facing each other

Strongest image of the day:

While speeding along
Redondo Beach Boulevard
after a long run at the gym
I pass a house where
Two
are facing each other

I see the back of
a little toddler
in a pink dress
and white bonnet
facing her mama who
is clapping her hands
say-singing some kind
of sweet silly song
while looking down
at her tiny girl
with the biggest
brightest stellar star
smile any mother
could ever wish to have

I see nothing of myself
in that picture
and in that moment
I see

Everything
