Day 363
11:51 pm

birth day

In the way
of the way
things are

We find a gift
We reuse a nice bag
We sign a cool card
We look for the balloons
We gather ’round
We waster paper
We save ribbons
We sing songs
We eat cake

We don’t position ribbons across flower wreaths
We don’t stuff extra tissue in our pockets
We don’t open caskets

We watch you
blow out candles

It’s just the way it is
when things are as
they should be
