Day 16
1:23 am

of beauty, of distaste

thing of beauty – a grandmother mixing
glass noodles and julienned vegetables
with her bare hands, and while not trusting
the granddaughters or anyone else to this
part, we worry little of her dominance, we
worry not at all of her designation

thing of distaste – a governments’ hands
cutting up the world, not allowing anyone
else to be in control of the mix they stir
with government fingers, able to require
this dreadful, sopping wet mess by the
power of their government arms
