Day 25
12:09 am

i like the happy poem
i love reading her to sleep
and waking with her in the morning
she often greets me just to keep me sane

but for the life of me
i can not find her tonight
i think she’s gone and lost her way
she did tell me once we all have a dark side

and instead of looking
i think i will leave her alone
i will sit in solidarity with her sorrow
she shall find me, unannounced in my tears

but she nor i will worry
i will wake to shake all of this
she will rise, refreshed and smiling
and surely, joy will be written all over her face
