Day 40
12:35 am

fuzzy (logic)

we made sense the way
empty space makes sense
to the cosmologists, thinning
theories to the burgeoning belly
of the universe, but we were
meant to come together
regardless, the way animal
enthusiasts are thought to
enjoy gorillas at the zoo, yes,
we were meant to be, like
evangelicals and my
Saturday morning doorstep

it could not be helped
we suffered
myopia of the heart
