Day 86
8:54 pm

Scale – 10 – abundance

full potbellies
sneaking a peek from
underneath stained
tees at the buffet

or protruding potbellies
hollow like watermelons
in need of a few seeds
to plant somewhere rich

between harvest and
famine, on some plain
or uneven playing field,
we all know abundance

if by gluttony or default
we all yearn for more,
in my dreams, we reach
for each other

where the best if not the
truest of our fullness believes
this feeling to be a right
and not a privilege
