Day 98
11:59 pm

Scale – 22 – world

At the end of it all
I want to have tasted
Every corner of the world
And mere speck though I am,
Be to scale on my map

Not measured
In riches or by fame,
But by bridges laying
Across my stomach,
Marveling in each other,
Connected at my chest by
An endless tube of mirrors
That extend to the earth,
Showing roots, exposing
Truth on the bounty
We’ve obtained

To lay there deep
Underneath the dirt, I
Will have nothing left to
Eat, contemplate or measure,
But dreams will be sweet and
My feet will be tickled by
The growth that passes over
