Day 114
12:12 am

yellow moon

no matter how
delicious the journey,
the travel, the vacation,

brilliant at
the left side of
my car on the 5,
lets me know i am on
my way home

and i am never,
so all at once,
more alive

i am sure to
leave, after another
month or so,
after the next set
of traffic and
full schedules

but that low
yellow moon
will guide me,
toward a u-turn,
homecoming yet again
