Day 123
12:27 am

at dreams

what better time than at the crossroad of
aging and ideals,
to sit around the hearth of appetite and
dream

we, older and younger, gathered tonight to
dust each others pillowcases

to land on some
fresh earth and pound
the gruel into gluttony

to smell,
to taste,
to trace old maps and
consider the ones that
have yet to come out
for the new year

and not for the sake of fun!

no!

for the sake of
what we will schedule today
for the trigger of certainty

call on
them

we prepared the soil
especially for
eyes popping up from
behind pillows,
peaked interest in the gold
of tomorrow

come forth
and be ready

to face yourself
at your
dreams
