Day 135
5:50 pm

joy coffee

Holy shit!
It’s like..
You know what I’m sayin’?
You know what I’m sayin’!
And then..and then…and Oh My Gawd,
Yes! And then, and then, and then…

what the fuck is she talking about?

-smiles of knowing amongst the glances all around-

oh, yeah. she’s in love.

or she had too much coffee.

we like to joke about
our addictions, things
we like to tout and
share, like a nice
dark roast, and why not

but we kill ourselves
for the vices we
take care not to
light up in front
of others…

wrapping our hands around
mortar to build brick high
and deep around our hearts
because of the last time
and the time before that

running toward a dearth of
radiance, away from rainbows,
because we were never
personally introduced to

perhaps we can drink in
addiction to things that feed
us back ten-fold, like needing
love to be convenient and
open on every corner

something like joy, like
coffee, that i must
breathe in every morning,
something to brew just to
move, every single day
