Day 184
11:00 pm

not today

This morning
My pillow told me to
Stop writing about

Is too easy

What about
That morning two years ago
When you were sure she
Was about to hurt herself
As a way to escape from

Or yesterday’s nightmare
When you dreamed his body
Left yours for someone else’s

Or the list of fears
That enduring endless list
About your future self,
What of those?

Deal with that

Do nothing with today
But to
Get up,
Crumple the sheets,
Jump up and down
On the bed,
Tear open these pillows
Smother yourself
And fall out
