Zeitgeist – 1.

1. In the sun

Some of us know some of them
We hide behind cheap sunglasses
Just to get a better look for a
Little longer
They bask unabashedly and pay
No mind towards protecting the
Skin of their bibles or the heels
Of their bare feet, they are
Known to walk the streets
Without sandals

buy the paper,
crumple up the coupons,
throw them over to the

it is the only way,
maintain a caste system,
hold lifetime memberships,
box seats of the country

In the sun, far from the shadows,
It is with complete fear that they
Dare to wonder of sustainability
