Day 222
8:35 pm

same ‘ole toon

my friend likes cartoons and
writing cartoon songs

she, the star and the damsel
in distress, knows well what
never gets old

she lays across the tracks,
we move in closer and do

voice soaring like fireworks,
smiles while lighting
us, her TNT,

shoots herself out of the

the baby grand crushes her
past the surface where
she lands

pops up and animates us to

knows she will get crushed

the safe is not for keeping

the anvil
in the room
