Day 227
6:40 pm

1. trajectory

the watercress on Beano and Barbara’s farm
have always tasted sweet, new leases on land
new leases on life,

the watercress on the farm have always tasted
bitter, adjusting the tassels on the childrens’

generations’ hopes make trades with the
past, preschoolers and tourists grasp at the
growth closest to them

generations wave home through a computer
from afar, the watercress bends and the spring
spouts hello
