E – 13 – rewrite

Excavation

13. Diagnosis
.

.
all
little girls

have
time machines

but
this girl

needs
to hide

her
time machine

from
her mom

there
are ways

to
find answers

facts
like truths

but
the mother

doesn’t
really want

to
know them

she
would rather

claim
she does

and
simply go

for
a ride

again
and again

who
did it?

punctured
his liver?

captured
his heart?

swallowed
his tongue?

the
girl decides

they’ve
had enough

so
this time

by
her hands

siphon
the fuel

crash
the odometer

slash
the tires

stall
the truth
