Day 287
6:20 pm

crown

at the behest of nothing but the whims of
clouds, I stand about,

releasing jewels to the queens of literary
deportation,

parting myself to make way for holes to
become pipelines that

will reach the soothsayers of text, in prose
and promise to deliver

nothing but a piece of concrete, of asphalt
from the very streets

that raised me, be it suburban nonsense
or urban awakening,

let the judges come to forsake me of what
they can never hold
