Day 297
3:09 am

Magnitude

the human heart may become
a major constituent of
matter,

we, exist in the middle,

dust, particles, protons
separating from themselves,
we express intention to each
other in these terms…

energy, a faction that does
not settle like dust,
a grand fire onto itself,
when lit correctly

thirty times the smallest
visible particle,
thirty times tinier than
the human eye can fathom
a universe,

to know we are in the middle
of this scale, we are
overwhelmed by magnitude

until we return to the center,
somewhere around
heart,
to find there may be use

in
meaning

if
or when
it chooses to exist in

the fibers,
the bones,
the muscles,
the cells,
and the skin
of
love
